❤️ Why I love this recipe
- Making garlic bread in the air fryer is so quick and easy!
- The air fryer gives it a crunchier texture on the outside but keeps it soft and chewy on the inside.
- It has ALL the garlic flavor we love!
I use my homemade soft French bread recipe because the flavor is amazing! A French loaf or ciabatta from the store work equally well.

This is an "at a glance" list of ingredients. You'll find the list and the measurements in the printable recipe card below.
🔪 Instructions
- Blend the ingredients for the garlic butter in a food processor or blender.
- Slice a baguette and spread the butter on the slices of bread.
- Place the bread on the air fryer rack and set for 360F for 3 to 5 minutes, or until done the way you like. Check often.
- Enjoy!
🥫 Storage
Leftover garlic bread should be wrapped in aluminum foil and kept at room temperature for about 24 hours.
Any leftover garlic butter should be placed in an airtight container and refrigerated. It should be fine for a week or more.
You can freeze leftovers as well. Flash freeze the slices in a single layer on the baking sheet. Once they are frozen transfer to a freezer bag or airtight container.
Freeze for up to 3 months.
🧑🏻🍳 Baker's notes
⭐ Expert Tip: Different brands of air fryers behave differently. Keep a close watch on your garlic bread for the first couple of times you make it until you know exactly how long it takes for your brand.
- Bake the garlic bread in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes at 375F if you prefer not to use an air fryer.
- If you like a soft garlic bread recipe check it after about 2-3 minutes in the air fryer.
- If you love cheesy garlic bread add more Parmesan cheese. Mozzarella or Provolone are good, too!
- Make sure the butter is at room temperature but not melting before mixing in the other ingredients - especially if you're doing it by hand.
- You may need to adjust cooking time if you cut slices thicker or thinner than I do.
- No fresh garlic? Use garlic powder to taste.
- Salted or unsalted butter is fine - whatever you have.
💡Great Idea: Get fancy! Serve with a spring of fresh rosemary or a basil leaf lying on top. It's pretty and it gives a little extra flavor.
